To be honest, I don't feel like blogging anything about yesterday.
Don't get me wrong, I had the time of my life. But I just don't feel like blogging. But I just feel like I should. So here it is.
Well, Cha and I went to Pismo yesterday. Cha already wrote about it here.
It was such a good day for me, it balanced out my bad Sunday at work. I didn't make any money! I made maybe $20. And I was killing everyone on the blackjack tables So I was the official killer of the day.
But for Cha unfortunately, well just read it.
We had a lot of funny antics. We rented some skim boards for a very cheap fee. Cha had never done it before, and I haven't done it in a long time, so in result, we were two idiots sliding planks across the shore, or so it looked that way. We put the boards away and started walking in the water. We ended up creeping deeper and deeper into the waves, yelling at the waves to give us everything it had to offer, sloshing us around. It was so funny how we were telling the water not to get the hair. And every time it hit us with a hard one, we would blurt out dumb things like " I will cut you!". It was so much fun but I can't imagine how we looked!
After that, we went to the city of San Luis Obispo and had an okay time. We had our realizations that we never want to go back there. There were too many students and youth that upset us ( we get enough of that in Fresno).
But what do you expect, it is a college town.
Next time, we want to go to Moneterey. We also want to take surfing lessons. I remember surfing and getting the jist and the balance of it, but I remember the friend that was teaching me had done something I really didn't approve of and continued to do it so I stopped talking to him. So I want to take those lessons.
They are cheap. $35 for the hour lesson, which includes them lending you a surf board, a surf suit and one more hour on your own. And then after those two hours they start charging you their regular hourly rate, which is really very cheap ($1/hr for the surf board and $3/hr for the suit what a steal!) but the downside of it is, the owner's kids are the ones that give the lessons and they have school and sports activities so we have to call in advance, which we really cant afford to do.
I want to get into surfing again because it is an inexpensive activity since we have a source to rent from, which beats buying the suit and the board by an aggregate amout of about $850 to own.
After this trip, I kinda have a new outlook on trips. I realized Cha and I didn't spend a lot( aside from the jackets, please read her entry) and now I am planning all kinds of trips in my head under a hundred dollars, not counting gas.
Next stop, Monterey!!. Bring it on!
