Spicy things.

Spicy things usually come with a good flavor. I love that extra kick in my food. But lately, spicy has not been my friend. My dad just came home and he tried to make me eat the angry whopper from burger king. It had jalapenos and hot mayonnaise and hot hot hot all over it. When I had a bite of it, I gave him the "WTF" look because my dad can't handle spicy things.

I like spicy things, but if it hurts, sheesh, I can't eat it. My mouth is burning right now, and I just had a flash back of when Charlene and I had curry from Thai kitchen. PAIN AND RICE. I think that restaurant has a bad habit of dumping the chili sauce because I kid you not, when you ask for mild, it ends up nuclear. And "not spicy" is not an option at that place either. Whew!

My voice also isn't exactly the deepest, and eating extremely spicy things just heightens the pitch, especially when the pain intrudes on my throat.

I drank three glasses of milk and the spiciness just won't simmer down for the life of it!

I have been eating a lot of Laos, Thai and Vietnamese food, and I get freaked out every time they offer chili flakes, or insist that it tastes better that way. I hate when they start pushing it in your face or on your table. One time this lady straight up prepared it for me and created a bomb with pad thai and chili right in front of me and expected me to smile while I was crunching on the damn chili.

I even inhaled a chili flake once,
sheesh, I should stop with the chili flake stories already.
