Right after work, I was a little tired but Marisol texted me to hang out. I thought what the heck so I joined them. She brought Justin and Victor and it was a lot of fun. I was hungry so we decided to meet at Dennys, since it is the only thing open 24 hours.
And guess who I ran into? I ran into Nick! Well actually, we sat down and he sat next to me and surprised me. It was cool, and it wasn't awkward at all. I was able to speak to him and we were all good.. He really grew up, and to my surprise he looks good. I thought he turned out ugly because he started dressing all crazy for a moment there, but when I saw him today he was dressed normal and he looked pretty handsome. I don't want to be shallow, but I don't really like to hang out with people that don't have a sense of how to look good. I'm going to admit it right here and now, it embarrasses me when they don't know how to put themselves together, Or don't have a sense of style some what. I don't care if the style is laid back, or not so glamorous or anything like that, but please look decent. I refuse to hang out with any one who thinks zebra print and leopard print are all the rage, and wear it all over the place. TACKY.
And I refuse to hang out with people that wear pajamas out to the store. I don't care if they wear sweat pants. Or even those dreaded basketball shorts. BUt please do not wear pajamas out, they make any one, no matter how hot and sexy you are, look like they smell like butt.
But any ways back to Nick, he turned out pretty decent and easy to talk to. I guess it's the fact that he isn't in High school, and he matured made it nice to talk to him. WE are going to hang out some time. He's leaving for Georgia in a month so I have to book that some time Between now and then.
The Breakfast with Marisol, Justin and Victor was great. They are just a comical bunch of people and I really don't get annoyed with them. But I can't help but realize that they are just a different crowd. I don't know what it is.
Marisol is a little depressed. She told me her feelings towards her Best friend Tiffany (the one girl I don't want to talk to any more) and she is starting to feel like she is becoming more of a Fairweather friend. I'm kind of glad that she looks to me to talk about these things. She's been trying to get a hold of me the whole week just to talk about things. I feel loved haha.
But yeah, I understand where she is coming from. She has a hard time getting close to people. Not so much like me, BUt she is pretty up there.
I wonder how other people are doing. I feel like being social these days. LIke really social.

I know some folk get all snobby about Denny's, but I've always enjoyed it. Back in the Wicked Little Town I did my coming out in, Denny's and White Castle were your only choices after the bars closed. Whitey Cassell's was closer, but if you had a DD or cab fare, Denny's was always worth it because you'd see a lot of the people from the clubs. Just very social, and also kind of fun to see the drag queens and (what passed for) club kids make the waitresses uncomfortable. In Chicago, we had the Melrose Restaurant, which was even gayer due to being located in Boys Town (East Lakeview).
Thanks for making me think of happier times!
Well, the only reason why I get snobby about the Denny's around here is that they are dirty and we get mad at the people that work there. Only in this location. Aside from that, it's all good, and I don't mind going there. But I still go there anyways. I've given up trying to spend my money else where and waste time trying to find an alternative.
There is a Denny's like that in Fresno, its really fun because the waiter is also a drag queen, and he dresses up whenever he pleases as a waitress. I find it kinda cool that their manager allows him to wear a dress on the days he wants to. His name is Francis so it goes both ways.
It's always fun to involve people and food.
