I have this really bad habit of looking for personality defects in people that I meet for the first time.
It really limits who I end up talking to because that's the one thing that will bug me about the person every time I see them.
Like this girl at work that wants to be my friend, she ends up talking about herself too much. But then she really compliments things I wear and my hair, and she is really nice. But I end up getting all on her butt about how her hair isn't even that pretty that day, and it does not look like an actress' up-do.
If I were patient, I'd probably had gone far with that guy that liked me because it turns out, he's just not one to open up to people fast at all. But gosh, how do you deal with someone that won't answer your questions wholly, and won't exactly tell you what he's into? I don't know if I can deal with vague expression for weeks at a time. My time is precious to me.
And Leah, shes a cool gal, although, she's too quiet. I was thinking of ditching her but I stayed with her because she's actually useful. She can get a little boring once in a while, but she is my project on not trying to find personality defects in people and letting it get to me so quickly.
Aside from that, I think that's all I need to do and I'll probably have closer friends that way. hahaha.
