I visited Evan this morning after he got off work just to see what's new. We had some serious conversations and the issue with age came up. He didn't realize how young I was compared to him. I'm not that young, he's not old enough to be my dad or anything, but it's quite a gap.
He's 27 and I'm 21. He really thought I was 25 for while there. I don't know how he thought that, and after mentioning that, things were a little weird. I don't know how, but they were.
I asked why he thought I was that old and told me that I just seem that old for some odd reason.
To be honest, I think I act 21. What is the difference between how a 21 year old acts and a 25 year old acts? I mean sure the 25 year old would have a lot more maturity, but that depends on the person.
I was a little, umm, how should I say this, annoyed that he kept mentioning that He thought I was so much older. Not that I don't want to be older or anything, it's just that I don't like being stereotyped in any which way to begin with.
I guess I'll learn to take that as a compliment.
These songs have been making me happy as of late.

So you're more mature than the average 21yo. Evan shouldn't be too freaked - it's only 6 years. I have plenty of friends that are in their 20's - and we never have a difficult time relating to each other.

i think 10 will be a difference (but only slight), but 6 years isnt bad! think evans been a weeee bit too serious lol!
i mean, its not like ur the creepy couple (old rich guy & young girl) with almost 40 yrs apart (>.<)

Yeah, well with Evan's history of things he freaks out with it isn't so surprising how he reacted hahah.
I don't find it weird that I go out with someone a lot older with me, to be honest, I don't get along with people my age any how, they usually don't have a steady job, don't know how to balance bills, their time management is shit. And plus, ever since I've been in the work force, I've always been hanging out with the older bunch.
I'm not used to hanging out with anyone near my age any more so when I get invited to their parties I tend to stray because I know what to expect already. But I still go. HAh.
